01/11/08 - Dry Cleaning...26 views...is the complete awesomest use of my money that I can think of now that I'm working. I have always despised folding/ironing clothes, and the fact that someone else will do this for me for a minimal price is just completely mind blowing.

Poplar River10 viewsOn Friday night, Keacher and I stopped at the Poplar River to rest our weary feet after about 15 miles of technical (and extremely hilly) hiking. The river water wasn't too cool, but it sure was refreshing. After setting up camp, I played around jumping from rock to rock (yes I'm still 10 years old...at heart). There were plenty of them, because there has been a drought here for about 2 weeks, leaving the water level incredibly low.

01/12/08 - Avenue Q36 viewsTonight, Alexandria and I went out to see Avenue Q play at the State Theatre in downtown Minneapolis. For the unaware, the musical is a satire of sesame street (complete with puppets and counting/word mini cartoons), based on the life of Preston, a recent college graduate who settles down in Alphabet City NY to start a post-college life. With song titles like "The internet is for Porn" and "Everyone's a little bit racist," Alex and I agreed that this was the most entertaining/interesting musical we've ever seen!
